Packaging is a wasteful but unavoidable part of the beauty industry. We are constantly working on improving our packaging to reduce waste and as much as possible minimize our use of plastic. Our soaps are packaged in kraft boxes which can be recycled. Our oil bottles are also made of glass and can be recycled indefinitely.
At Olona Earth we practice organic farming and sustainable agriculture which is beneficial to wildlife and biodiversity of plants, animals, insects and microbes. We do not use synthetic chemical fertilizers or pesticides and we practice extraction and cultivation techniques which respect the environment, therefore leading to the release of fewer greenhouse gas emissions.
